NFE has an immediate opening for a motivated Engineering Technician. Full-time and contract status will be considered. The position involves performing CADD services for a wide variety of surveying and civil engineering projects including, but not limited to:
- Preparation of boundary and topographic surveys
- Preparation of ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys
- Preparation of Act 132 Surveys
- Preparation of easement exhibits and sketches
- Preparation of civil/site work drawings for both public and private development projects
- Residential, commercial, industrial and institutional site planning
- Site grading and storm drain design (including profiles)
- Storm water management design
- Water and sanitary sewer main design (including profiles)
- Soil erosion and sedimentation control design
- Preparation of miscellaneous presentation exhibits and sketches
We are seeking a technician with a minimum of 5 years experience with excellent communications and computer skills, as well as AutoCAD and Civil 3D experience. In addition, the successful candidate will meet the following requirements:
- Knowledge of various computer software, including spreadsheets and word processing
- Knowledge of federal, local and industry engineering codes and standards
- Knowledge of civil engineering concepts and principles
- Ability to professionally communicate with clients, technical staff and management
