NFE has an immediate opening for a motivated Civil Engineer. The position involves designing of a wide variety of civil engineering projects including, but not limited to:
- Preparation of civil/site work drawings for public and/or private land development projects
- Residential, commercial, industrial and institutional site planning
- Design of private and/or public utility projects
- Site grading design
- Storm drain design
- Storm water management design
- Water and sanitary sewer main design
- Soil erosion and sedimentation control design
- Floodplain studies
We are seeking an engineer with a BS degree in Civil Engineering. Related experience is a plus. Candidate should have excellent communication and computer skills, as well as AutoCAD/Civil 3D experience. In addition, the successful candidate will meet the following requirements:
- Knowledge of various computer software, including spreadsheets, word processing and scheduling software
- Knowledge of federal, local and industry engineering codes and standards
- Knowledge of civil engineering concepts and principles
- Knowledge and willingness to participate in business development activities
- Ability to professionally communicate with clients, technical staff and management
