NFE has an immediate opening for a motivated GIS Manager. Full-time or contract status will be considered. This position involves overseeing GIS services for a wide variety of municipal and private-sector projects, including but not limited to:
- Development, maintenance, and management of enterprise GIS databases and systems
- Preparation and management of parcel data, utility mapping, asset management, zoning, floodplain, and right-of-way mapping
- Spatial data analysis, quality control, and data integrity management
- Development of web-based GIS applications, dashboards, and public-facing mapping portals
- Coordination of GIS efforts with engineering, surveying, environmental, and planning teams
- Preparation of high-quality mapping exhibits and technical deliverables
- Management of multiple GIS projects, schedules, budgets, and resources
- Oversight, training, and mentoring of GIS technical staff
We are seeking a candidate with 7+ years of progressively responsible GIS experience, including leadership experience, strong communication skills, and advanced technical proficiency. The successful candidate will meet the following requirements:
- Advanced knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Enterprise
- Proficiency with GIS database design and geospatial data management
- Understanding of GIS/CAD integration workflows (AutoCAD Civil 3D experience preferred)
- Familiarity with municipal infrastructure systems and regulatory requirements
- Ability to communicate technical GIS information to clients, staff, and stakeholders
